About

The festival

After a one-year break, Kultur21 asbl is once again organizing the Pëttener Summer Nights festival from 4 to 6 August 2023 in the ruins of Pettinger Castle near Mersch. New this year: A weekend with numerous concerts on two stages catering to every taste, an exhibition by the artist collective Hariko of the Croix-Rouge, workshops for children and adults, and a newcomer band competition.

Our goal is to create a sustainable festival that revitalizes the forgotten castle ruins and appeals to residents and tourists in the region.

The organisers

We are Tun, Michèle, Ella, and Nick, and we founded Kultur21 asbl to promote culture in rural areas. In 2021, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we started our volunteer work and organized six individual concerts at Pettingen Castle. This year, we are expanding our concept and focusing it on one weekend.
